The average age of the Bulgarian nurses is 55 years. Only 60% of them are in active age. 19.7% are pensioners and another 19.64% are about to retire soon, the Chairperson of the Bulgarian Association of Health Professionals Milka Vasileva told this country’s Minister of Health Professor Kostadin Angelov.
