An anti-government protest has, once again been called for tonight, the 82nd night of protest, with the steadfast demands for the resignation of the prime minister, the prosecutor general, and the holding of early elections.
A 6-hour rally-concert entitled “Future for Bulgaria – future for the young” took place at Eagles’ Bridge last night, the 81st night of protest. A host of famous rock bands played at the concert, though some declined. The speakers raised various problems such as breach of civil rights, and demanded legislative changes in art and culture, the BNR reports.
At the concert, the so-called “toxic trio” announced that a new mass protest - “Grand National Uprising 4” - is planned for 3 October.
