Protesters send signals to MEPs about misuse of EU money

The leaders of the anti-government protest sent an email to all 705 MEPs on occasion of the forthcoming debate at the European Parliament on Octoboer 5 on the rule of law in Bulgaria, BNR reports. Statements of the Minister of Economy and the Minister of Agriculture and Food were published in the announcement.

The first one is a statement of Minister Lachezar Borissov to the media in which he explains that he sent a signal to the State Agency for National Security for corrupt practices in the implementation of anti-crisis measures with European funds. The second recording is a conversation of Minister Desislava Yaneva with farmers in which according to the protesters, she instructs them how to cover up abuses.
