Bulgarians need to improve their digital competence: trade union leader

The digital skills of all Bulgarians in the next 4 years must be drastically improved, the President of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria Plamen Dimitrov said at a forum dedicated to education. 3.2 million employed Bulgarians and nearly 250,000 unemployed people urgently need to acquire digital competence, in order to meet the demands of the quickly changing labor market. Bulgaria must hurry up preparing the National Recovery Plan, in order to have access to EUR 13.5 billion earmarked by the Union for policies in important fields, including digital skills.
