We regret the impossibility of Bulgaria and North Macedonia to bring their institutions as close as possible during the Joint Co-Presidency of the Berlin Process, due to the unexpected outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. This was said by the Bulgarian ambassador in Skopje on October 28 during the first working breakfast within the Bulgarian-Macedonian presidency, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry announced.

In the presence of the Ambassadors of the Western Balkans and Germany and Bulgaria to Skopje, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani expressed the expectation that the initiative for moving with ID cards between the countries of the Western Balkans would be among the topics of the Meeting of Ministers of Economy of the Berlin Process, in Sofia, on November 5.
