Just 5.8% of polled Bulgarians support the possibility of North Macedonia becoming a member of the EU, even if its relations with Bulgaria were not fully settled, a Gallup International survey shows. 57.9% reject this possibility. But a very high share of 36.3% say that they can not decide, BGNES reported.

According to the analysis by Gallup International, the results also prove the conclusions of a series of studies related to the topic and conducted in the past years. They show that despite decades of division, Bulgarian society has not lost affinity for Skopje, but expects North Macedonia to quickly implement its Good Neighbor Agreement with Bulgaria.
