The 174th day of anti-government protests in Sofia ended yesterday with a street procession and the traditional temporary blockade of Eagle’s Bridge.
Earlier, as they passed near the building of the Bulgarian National Television, protesters thwarted a live broadcast of BNT, which had to take place at a shopping center opposite the building of the public broadcaster. Protesters demanded the resignations of Bulgaria’s government, this country’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev and BNT Director General Emil Koshlukov.
