The political party "Democratic Bulgaria" will refer to the European Commission and the Commission for Protection of Competition a signal for violation of the legislation on public procurement by the state-owned company "Avtomagistrali" in charge of Bulgarian's motorways.

The company executes construction contracts worth billions without competing for them. Using the fact that it is a state-owned company, "Avtomagistrali" receives money from Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency. Yet the company has no capacity and works with subcontractors selected in non-transparent procedures. This is what the leader of the political movement "Yes, Bulgaria" Hristo Ivanov said in a video on social networks. The redistribution of money creates ample ground for corruption, Ivanov claims.
At the insistence of the opposition party BSP, the National Audit Office will start inspection of Avtomagistrali company, BGNES agency reported.
