Bulgaria reports 227 positive results of Covid-19 out of 2,792 tests

The new cases of Covid-19 in Bulgaria registered during the last 24 hours, are 227 with 2,792 tests performed, or almost 8% of the samples returned positive. This is shown by the data from the Unified Information Portal. 

15 people died of the infection, bringing the total death toll to 9,854.

The active cases in Bulgaria at the moment are 26,560. Currently, 3,880 people are hospitalized, as 321 of them are in intensive care units.

114 people were registered as cured during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 200,252.

Since the start of the campaign, 119,354 coronavirus vaccines have been administered in the country, including 10,998 for the last 24 hours. 26,973 people received two doses of the vaccine.
