Countries in Central Europe offer an online program dedicated to Bulgaria's National Day

The Bulgarian Cultural Institutes in Berlin, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest and Rome are organizing a three-day festive program on occasion of the Day of Liberation of Bulgaria celebrated on March 3. People who live in these countries can watch:

  • The documentary film “The undefeated general-Vladimir Vazov” which tells the story of the great Bulgarian patriot-General Vladimir Vazov (1868-1945). The link to the documentary will be activated at 19.00 pm on March 1 and will be available until 19.00 pm on March 2.
  • The film Vazvishenie (Summit), a screen version of Milen Ruskov’s novel of the same name. The link to the film will be activated at 19.00 pm on March 2 and will be available until 19.00 pm on March 3.
  • The festive concert of the Sofia Philharmonic containing pieces of Bulgarian composers. The link to the concert will be activated at 19.00 pm on March 3 and will be available until 19.00 pm on March 4.

The films have English subtitles.

The program is available only on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Italy, informed the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin.
