President Rumen Radev: Fair elections are priority

Photo: BGNES

"Fair elections are a priority because Boyko Borissov's government had delayed machine voting for too long, prevented Bulgarians abroad from voting for too long, and we have been a European record holder when it comes to invalid ballots for too long," President Rumen Radev told journalists during his visit to the city of Parvomay on the occasion of the city holiday. The President was previously asked why he was so quick in issuing a decree for promulgation of the changes in the Electoral Code in the State Gazette.

President Radev expressed hope that BSP for Bulgaria would seize the opportunity of the third government-forming mandate to form a cabinet of the democratic alternative together with other parties that share people's expectations for change.
