Dimitar Georgiev, head of the State Agency for National Security and Atanas Atanasov, head of the State Intelligence Agency have terminated their leave of absence, BGNES reports.

As the caretaker cabinet was appointed the two took unpaid leave until September. Last week Dimitar Georgiev and Atanas Atanasov were invited to a meeting with caretaker PM Stefan Yanev but did not respond. Today they showed up at the Council of Ministers building with the idea of meeting with him.

“The meeting did not take place due of the busy schedule of the cabinet meeting,” government spokesperson Anton Kutev said.
