Caretaker Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov would provide information to the future parliamentary committee that is to check whether politicians were illegally wiretapped. He said the conclusions of the Prosecutor’s Office that there was no evidence of committed crimes were controversial. "Gross mistakes were made in this country’s legislation and peaceful protesting citizens were subjected to special intelligence means," the minister said.

Rashkov also criticized the prosecution's accusation against businessman Vasil Bozhkov, who is hiding in the UAE. According to Rashkov, accusing Bozhkov of a political crime will prevent his extradition because no civilized country extradites persons wanted for political crimes.
