"The political forces represented in parliament must find the formula for forming a regular government in the interest of the Bulgarian society as soon as possible," a position published by the press office of the Bulgarian head of state reads.

The document points out that President Rumen Radev, fulfilling his constitutional duties, is ready to hand over a mandate for a new cabinet. "Our country is facing urgent reforms and decisions that require a government with political responsibility and parliamentary support," reads the position, which concludes that reaching a sustainable consensus for change was the responsibility of the political forces themselves.
