Within days, Bulgaria will enter the "orange zone" of the Covid-19 pandemic and the measures will be tightened, Bulgaria's Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Dimitar Petrov told bTV.

The measures will affect night clubs at the seaside where the physical distancing between customers is not observed. The control at the border checkpoints and the places for recreation along the roads, where there is an accumulation of transit passengers, will also be strengthened.

If the growth of the patients continues, it is possible that we will enter the red zone where the anti-epidemic measures will be much stricter and will primarily affect the indoor catering establishments, Dr. Petrov warned.

At this stage, the health authorities cannot recommend a third dose of the vaccine, but let's put the first and second doses first, the deputy minister urged.
