Number of coronavirus patients in Bulgarian hospitals has reached over 1000

392 cases of coronavirus infection were registered during the past day after 17,469 tests, according to official data from the Coronavirus Information Portal. 2.2% of the tests returned positive result.

Most of the newly infected are in Sofia - 103, in Plovdiv - 44 and in Burgas – 43. In the district of Vidin, no new cases were registered. Currently there are 1,013 patients in hospital as 98 of them are in intensive care. One person passed away and 17 recovered. There are a total of 10,747 active cases.

Yesterday, 3,278 coronavirus vaccines were administered, bringing the total to more than 2 million. More than 1 million people have already been fully immunized.
