On August 12, Bulgaria’s National Assembly will vote the case regarding the withdrawal of Prime-Minister designate Plamen Nikolov. This was decided by an extraordinary council summonned by the National Assembly Speaker Iva Miteva. Voting in the plenary hall will be the first item on the agenda. “It is the Bulgarian Parliament that should decide on this case, President Radev's Secretary for Legal Affairs Professor Emilia Drumeva said at the meeting.

Bulgaria’s Parliament should express the will of the MPs in the Parliamentary republic. Later, following the constitutional procedure, the President will be able to hand the second government-forming mandate to another political force, said MP Desislava Atanasova from GERB party.
