1,405 new Covid-19 cases have been registered in the country out of 21,906 tests performed in the past 24 hours, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The coronavirus positivity rate is now 6.4% - 2% up from the previous day.
The highest number of new infections is in Sofia - 315, in Burgas – 151 and in Plovdiv - 125.
Hospitalizations are also up – 1,832 are being treated in hospital, 160 of them in intensive care. 19 people have died, 160 have recovered. The number of active cases now stands at 16,983.
