Restrictions on the tourism industry must be bound by immediate compensations: Ministry of Tourism

Future Covid-19 restrictions imposed on the tourism industry must be bound by economic measures entering into force from day one, reads a position of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Tourism. As the fourth wave of Covid-19 is near, the long-term recovery of the business, which began in the summer season, is facing serious challenges, announced the Ministry of Tourism. The focus shall be on preventive actions via enhanced control and self-control by institutions and businesses, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Tourism notes.

The restoration of the "tourist ecosystem" can only happen if the sector continues to work actively in compliance with anti-epidemic measures, the position of the Ministry of Tourism reads further.
