President Rumen Radev said that the caretaker government, which is due to be announced on September 16, will continue the policy of the current cabinet. On Thursday the 46th National Assembly will be dissolved.

President Radev did not comment on the composition of the new government, but pointed out that strengthening statehood would remain a top priority for the caretaker cabinet. The President took part in the celebration of the professional holiday of the Bulgarian firefighters in Sofia.

I have no proposal to stay in the new caretaker cabinet and no one has one yet, said Deputy Prime Minister and caretaker Minister of Interior, Boyko Rashkov, who also attended the ceremony.
