Bulgarian wrestler Bilyana Dudova has won the world champion title in women's wrestling in the 59-kg category. In the final of the World Cup in Oslo, the Bulgarian athlete won with 6:4 versus Akie Hanai of Japan

This is the first world title for Dudova. She has won a total of four European women's titles in her career, as well as a silver medal from the 2018 World Championships. 24-year-old Dudova won her latest European gold medal at the European Championships in Warsaw earlier this year.

Dudova's title is the first for Bulgaria in a World Wrestling Championship after 2018. This is the only medal for the Bulgarian team at the competition in Oslo so far.
