Bulgaria's PM Stefan Yanev to participate in COP26 climate conference in Glasgow

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Stefan Yanev will take part in the World Meeting of Leaders as part of the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference, the government's press office said. 

The Global Forum will take place on 1 and 2 November in Glasgow, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. 
The Bulgarian Prime Minister will make a speech on the second day of the leaders' meeting, where he will highlight Bulgaria's efforts to achieve a smooth and fair green transition amidst a global health and economic crisis. 
Against the background of constantly rising energy prices, Bulgaria also strictly implements the Paris Agreement and works to meet European collective goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve climate neutrality.
