“The elections in April and in July left Bulgaria without a regular government. The country faces pressing tasks, among them approval of the state budget,” Bulgarian President Rumen Radev stated in an address to the nation on the eve of the elections.

“Many do not vote because they are afraid they will be deceived. But elections are the exact opposite, they are an opportunity to set down the direction you want Bulgaria to evolve in. During elections, it is the citizens that are the arbitrator. Take advantage of this opportunity. The more Bulgarians have their say, the more steadfast our institutions will be. Let everyone who holds Bulgaria dear, here, or far from their country, let them all cast their vote for its future on Sunday, 14 November,” President Radev urged.
