Coalition government negotiations enter their final phase

Bulgaria’s new coalition government has almost been negotiated, sources from the political forces negotiating the new cabinet told the BNR.

The Prime Minister, two deputy premiers and the ministеrs of growth and innovation, finance, interior, defense, transport, education, culture and health will be representatives of "We Continue the Change".

The Bulgarian Socialist Party will be in charge of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

"There is Such a People" will be in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and the Ministry of Sports.

Democratic Bulgaria will be in charge of the Ministry of Justice, the E-government Ministry and the Ministry of Environment and Water.

The four political forces are expected to govern according to the formula 10-4-4-3.

The number of people employed at the state administration will be reduced by 30,000 in 2022, Assen Vassilev from "We Continue the Change" said.
