There will be changes in the senior management of the Ministry of Interior, including Deputy Ministers, Bulgaria’s Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov said for the BNR. In his words, “some processes at the State Agency for National Security should be speeded up”, where people close to the former management of the agency have returned to work after a six or seven- month leave.

Minister Rashkov commented on  the “inaction of the agency after receiving eloquent information about a strange cash withdrawal from a certain bank”. Nearly 350 people employed at the Ministry of Interior will be made redundant by the end of 2021 which is in line with the plan of the state to reduce administration, Minister Boyko Rashkov said.
