The ethnic diversity of the city of Plovdiv, which lives in its millennial history, in the memories of the elderly and in the curiosity of their heirs will be presented through a series of cultural and educational events in the upcoming year 2022.

The project of the Pisalka i Pero Association will include representatives of all ethnic communities in the city - Jewish, Armenian, Roma, Turkish, Russian and even Italian
"We will show that different ethnic groups have lived in a very good way with each other, respecting traditions, holidays, celebrating them together and presenting Plovdiv as a polyethnic city," said Dimitar Minev, director of the Ivan Vazov National Library, which will host the events.
