As of next week, the quarantine for Covid-19 patients will be reduced from 14 to 10 days, and those in contact with them will stay at home for only a week. This intention of the health authorities was announced by the Deputy Minister of Health Georgi Yordanov after the meeting of the newly established National Pandemic Committee.

"There is a reluctance of Bulgarians to be vaccinated against coronavirus," he added.
Currently, 35.7% of Bulgarians are immunized, as the goal is to reach at least 60% of the population as in Greece.
