Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Tuesday, February 1

Rain and snow expected in Bulgaria on Tuesday

Cloudy weather is expected in all parts of Bulgaria on Monday night. It will start snowing in Western Bulgaria before noon. Rain is expected in the eastern parts of the country in the afternoon hours. Code Yellow for heavy snow was issued for the southwestern parts of Bulgaria. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between minus 1°C and 4°C, for Sofia- around minus 1°C. Maximum temperatures will range between 8°C and 9°C, for Sofia- around 3°C. The maximum temperatures in the high fields of Western Bulgaria will not exceed 3°C.

The weather in the mountains will be cloudy. Snow and moderate southerly winds are also expected. Maximum temperatures at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 0°C, at 2,000 meters- minus 6°C.

Snow is in the forecast for all parts of Bulgaria on Wednesday. Heaviest snowfall is expected in the Rhodopes.
