60 percent of Bulgarians are dissatisfied with situation in the country

60% of polled Bulgarians say that the country is not moving in the right direction. 20 percent disagree, according to the latest Eurobarometer survey form December 2021, commissioned by the European Parliament.

62% are dissatisfied with the mechanism of Bulgarian democracy, while 35% express satisfaction. 60 percent believe that Bulgaria has benefited from its EU membership, but 28 percent doubt it. The number of Eurosceptics grew by 4% for a year. According to 47 percent of Bulgarians, the biggest benefit of EU Membership is finding a job in the union. More than 30 percent are dissatisfied that Bulgaria has no influence on decision-making in Brussels.

For almost half of Europeans, fighting climate change is a priority. In Bulgaria just 16% agree with this.
