Bulgarian companies will continue to receive compensations in April because of the high electricity price. The decision was adopted at today’s sitting of the Council of Ministers. The funding earmarked for non-household consumers increase from EUR 125 to EUR 150 . For the purpose, non-household consumers will receive EUR 369 million. Electricity prices for household consumers will not increase after the end of the moratorium on the prices of electricity, water and central heating.

However, the prices of water and central heating are expected to rise after the moratorium. The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission is yet to decide on the new prices of central heating and water. It has not decided whether water and central heating prices will change after the end of the moratorium or after July 1, the commission’s Chairperson Stanislav Todorov said at a meeting of the National Assembly Committee on Energy.
