Bulgaria has registered 457 new infections of Covid-19 in past day

In the last 24 hours, 457 cases of coronavirus have been identified from the 8,130 tests performed, data of the National Coronavirus Information Portal shows. 5.6% of the tests came back positive. 61% of newly infected have not been vaccinated. 

The highest number of new cases is in Sofia - 170, in Blagoevgrad - 28, and in Burgas - 23. There are currently 99,213 active cases of Covid-19 in Bulgaria.

There are currently 572 patients in hospital as 50 of them are in intensive care units.  

Six people have died in the past day as all of them were not vaccinated.

781 doses of coronavirus vaccines were administered yesterday. 2,058,090 people have completed the immunization cycle. 753,956 Bulgarians have received a booster dose.
