Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova set to join Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy 3”

Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova is becoming part of Marvel’s superhero universe. She will be part of the Guardians of the Galaxy 3, which will also feature Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel and Dave Batista.

The actress confirmed the news. “I can’t explain the roller coaster of my emotions that I feel right now. Thank you James Gunn. It’s been the biggest honor for me to work with you! I love you. I love everyone involved in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. What a dream!”, Maria Bakalova wrote on Twitter. It is not clear yet what role Bakalova will play in this movie. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is scheduled to be released in the United States on 5 May, 2023. James Gunn is director and writer of the third and final part of Guardians of the Galaxy. The first two parts were extremely successful, with a total revenue of more than USD 1.6 billion.
