Iliya Lingorski takes office as member of the governing council of the Bulgarian National Bank

At a ceremony, attended by President Rumen Radev and the governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), Iliya Lingorski took office as member of the governing council of the Bulgarian National Bank. Lingorski is from the presidential quota, and is replacing Elitsa Nikolova, whose term of office expired.

Iliya Lingorski has many years of experience in investment banking. He has been deputy minister of finance, as well as chief economist of the Bulgarian Development Bank.
