If the work of institutions and parliament is hampered, elections are inevitable but they should come only as a last resort, Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev told a press briefing after the Three Seas Initiative summit in Latvia.

The parties represented in the Bulgarian parliament need to be responsible for both the debates and the vote itself should be focused on addressing the interests of the people, the Bulgarian head of state urged.
According to Radev, before talking about early electinos,  there will be many important challenges to be solved in the coming days and weeks which are within the competencies of the current government and parliament.
