Exhibition presents 20 portraits of remarkable female architects

The exhibition "Frau Architect (Madame Architect)", which is to be unvelied today in the park in front of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, presents twenty portraits of women who have contributed to the 20th century architecture. It is organised by the Goethe-Institut Bulgaria and Foundation Bulgarian Modernist Architecture. 

Sometimes they are pioneering women inspired by modernism or social movements, and somethimes they are hardline feminists and successful entrepreneurs. The official opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by an architectural walk downtown Sofia.
