A memorial ceremony was held today at Burgas Airport to mark the 10th anniversary of a terrorist attack in which five Israelis and a Bulgarian national died and close to 40 were seriously injured. Five Israeli tourists and their Bulgarian bus driver were killed in the terrorist attack.
Relatives of the victims of the terrorist attack, former Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov and U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria Herro Mustafa attended the memorial ceremony, the BNR- Burgas reported. Two Lebanese nationals, Meliad Farah and Hassan el Hajj Hassan, were tried in absentia over the attack at Burgas Airport.
