Weather forecast: Sun and afternoon clouds with occasional showers over the mountains in the Southwest

On Wednesday there will be sun, with clouds in the afternoon to the South of the Balkan range and over Mounts Rila and the Rhodopes. Daytime temperatures will reach 29-34° C., for Sofia around 29° C. 

Along the Black Sea coast the weather will be sunny with a moderate breeze from the Southeast. Clouds will gather in the afternoon though no rain is in the forecast. Maximum temperature at 28-30° C., temperature of the seawater 24-26° C., sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly sunny, with brief showers in the afternoon over the mountains in the Western part of the country. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. 23° C., at 2,000 m. - 16° C.

On Thursday and Friday the weather will continue predominantly sunny with afternoon clouds and local showers.
