24% coronavirus positivity in Bulgaria in past day

1,496 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 6,228 tests performed. 24% of the tests have returned positive result, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data indicate.

The highest number of new Covid-19 cases were reported in Sofia- 353, followed by Plovdiv-128 and Burgas-114.

148 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospitals in the past day. 1,066 patients are being treated in hospital, as 55 of them are in intensive care units.

4 people with an established coronavirus infection have died. 1,755 have been reported cured. 3,535 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday. 2,065,448 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle.
