The participation of Bulgaria’s young contestants in the 6th Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia has been deemed an enormous success. For the first time in the 15 years in which it has taken part in the tournament, which experts dub a mini-European championship, this country has won a total of six medals – three silver and three bronze.
