Bulgaria reports 11 Covid-related deaths in past day

1,403 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 7,992 tests performed, a positivity rate of 17%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data indicate. 67% of the newly-infected were not immunized.

The highest number of new cases of coronavirus infection was reported in Sofia-261, followed by Plovdiv-120 and Stara Zagora-100.

 830 people are being treated in hospital, as 51 of them are in intensive care units. 173 patients have been hospitalized in the past day, as 84% of them were not vaccinated. 11 people with established coronavirus infection have died and 1,110 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours. There are 13,348 active cases of Covid-19.

1,200 vaccine doses were administered on Monday. 2,068,949 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle. 62,748 have gad a second booster shot.
