Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Wednesday, August 31

Occasional showers are in the forecast for Western and Central Bulgaria for Tuesday night. Clouds will form over the eastern parts of the country on Wednesday morning with a chance of rain and thunderstorms in Strandzha Mountain and the southern Black Sea coast. It will be mostly sunny in Bulgaria before noon. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will form in the afternoon hours with a chance of brief showers and thunderstorms mainly in Western and Central Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 25°C and 30°C, for Sofia around 25°C.

Over the mountains there will be significant clouds. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. There will be significant precipitation in some mountain areas. There will be light northeasterly wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 22°C, at 2,000 meters- around 15°C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be variable cloudiness, more significant along the southern coastline in the morning hours, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms. There will be moderate northeasterly winds. Daytime highs will reach 27°C-29°C. The seawater temperature is 26°C-27°C. Sea state 2-3.
