Bulgaria's men's team wins first victory at EuroBasket 2022

Bulgaria's national men's basketball team kept its chances of qualifying for the round of 16 atEuroBasket 2022 after defeating host Georgia 92:80 in its fourth game of the competition. Rosen Barchovski's players lost their first 3 matches against the teams of Spain, Turkey and Montenegro, but showed class and character to overcome the Georgians.

Bulgaria and Georgia already have an asset of one win and three losses in Group A of the European Championship. In Tbilisi on September 7, the Bulgarians face the Belgian team and with another success they can overcome the group stage, which is the big goal for the team. The match with Belgium starts at 17:15, Bulgarian time.
