Bulgaria reports 6 Covid-related deaths in past day

550 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 5,087 tests performed, 286 down on the previous day. 10.8% of the tests came back positive, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 64% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 415 to 11,150. 96 patients have been admitted to hospitals in the past day. 76 of them, or 79%, were not vaccinated. 673 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospital, as 38 of them are in intensive care units.

6 people with an established coronavirus infection have died and 959 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours.

1,346 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday.
