Voter turnout in the parliamentary elections at 39,40%

39.40% was the voter turnout in the early parliamentary elections by 8:00 p.m. on October 2, Bulgaria's Central Election Commission announced. 

2,601,696 Bulgarian citizens exercised their right to vote. 

For comparison, the voter turnout in the parliamentary elections in April 2021 was 50.61%, in July last year - 42.19%, and in November 2021, when there were parliamentary and presidential elections, it was 40.23%.
