Bulgaria is among the largest military suppliers to Ukraine, according to media

Bulgaria has become one of the largest indirect suppliers of arms to Ukraine, selling record quantities since the beginning of the war, Ukrainian media “Yevropeyska Pravda” writes, referring to an article in "Euractiv".

The article points out that Bulgaria and Hungary are the only two countries in NATO and the EU that have officially refused to send military aid to Ukraine. However, Bulgarian-made ammunition that meets the standards of Soviet weapons used by Ukraine is constantly sent through Poland and Romania.

The Air Force of Bulgaria consists mainly of Soviet MiG-29 and Su-25 aircraft, which are no longer subject to maintenance and should be decommissioned soon, the article also reads.
