The remains of two temples have been discovered near the legendary Thracian sanctuary of Orpheus near the village of Tatul in the Rhodopes. This is what the head of the archaeological works there, Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov, told the BTA. These are well-preserved sites - a large Christian church from the 5th-6th century and the foundations of an earlier temple, dating back to the 3rd-4th century. Coins and ceramics were also found, experts reported.
