“Bulgaria is making extraordinary efforts to ensure the security of its partners”, caretaker Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev said in a statement with regard to the Netherlands’ intention to vote against Bulgaria’s admission to the Schengen.
“Three of our border police officers lost their lives to protect the security of the European Union. The suggestions that you can cross the border for EUR 50 are extremely offensive. Our efforts do not deserve disregard!
