Representatives of the "Mothers Against the War" initiative submitted a petition to the National Assembly demanding that Bulgaria be the initiator of peace negotiations to stop the military actions in Ukraine, taking the lives of innocent citizens, and for not involving Bulgaria in a military conflict. The petition, supported by more than 5,000 people, was started after the decision of the deputies on November 3, 2022, that Bulgaria should provide military aid to Ukraine.

The request will also be submitted to the Council of Ministers and the presidential institution, BNR reported.
