The youth formation of the Sofia Boys Choir celebrates its 25th anniversary with a concert on December 10 at 6:00 p.m. in the big hall of the National Music Academy ˮProf. P. Vladigerov". The "Sofia Boys Choir" association is initiator of the event. In October the association organized the first international choir festival "The Boys are Singing" in Sofia.

Let us recall that the Sofia Boys Choir of the community center “Tsar Boris III - 1928” was the first boys' choir created in Bulgaria. This happened in 1968 as founder of the choir was Liliana Todorova. Prof. Dr. Adriana Blagoeva has been conductor of the choir since 1989.

The youth formation was formed on November 1, 1997 and includes the grown-up members of the boy’s choir who want to continue singing after the voice change period. The two formations perform both separately and together, which significantly expands the repertoire possibilities.

Choral works by Todor Popov, Petar Lyondev, Alexander Tekeliev, Pavel Chesnokov, D. Edelman and others will be performed during the festive anniversary concert.
