Sofia has joined the big number of cities such as New York, London, Berlin, Hong Kong, etc., in which one can feel the atmosphere of Chinese lantern festivals and see impressive luminous sculptures. Visitors to the "Vazrazhdane" Park in Sofia can see and experience an extravaganza of colors and lights. Over 170 installations showing favorite animals, flowers, trees, and futuristic shapes take young and old visitors to a different reality where fairy tales come to life.

The "WinterLand" park presents the tradition of welcoming the Chinese New Year, BTA informs. The park welcomes its guests with sculptures of impressive tigers in the middle of the jungle, dolphins jumping over water, a life-size baby elephant, pink flamingos, a garden with giant colorful fruits, as well as children's favorite film characters...

The installations were created together with expert designers and engineers from China and can be seen until the end of February from 14:00 to 22:00.

In addition to the light show, Sofia's "Vazrazhdane" park also offers an ice rink to winter skating lovers. Residents and guests of the capital city can enjoy the wonderful conditions for skating, as well as the opportunities for initial training for children and beginners in sports such as ice hockey, figure skating and others.

The ice rink is part of a multi-functional sports complex with an area of 800 square meters and has a capacity of up to 100 users. "Vazrazhdane" is the newest park in Sofia. It is located in Zona B-5 residential area.
